Have you ever kicked around starting your very own professional organizer home business. The services offered can be widely varied such as cleaning out closets, kitchens, garages, storage area, etc. You can even suggest some minor remodeling and suggest that you do the packing and unpacking to help with the relocation of some items and articles. Depending on your area where you live, it might be a good idea plan preparedness programs for families and/or small businesses. You can really put your home business on the map by working with your local city council organizing disaster shelter plans.
The clients of professional organizers are varied and can include individuals in their homes, small businesses, clients with disabilities, etc. Most organizers are specialized in just one or two areas and most do not do cleaning and/or clerical work. In the beginning, you might consider this type of work just to get your home business going.
You should conduct an initial consultation with all new clients in person. At this time you discuss the needs of the client. Assess these needs
client and provide a money estimate for the job on a timely basis. You can do this estimate for free or you can charge a fee. Depending on the size of the proposed project, you may have to submit a verbal or written plan and provide a schedule. Perhaps you will need to present a completion date. Be being professional at all times will help your home business with good recommendations.

Church organizations, society clubs, senior centers, veteran centers all have social gatherings and possibly could use a professional organizer’s expertise.
